There are thousands of sites online offering low to high quality pictures but few of them really doing their job well by providing photo stocks free of cost as well. However its really harsh to get your hands on high quality pictures free of cost but by paying little fee to these sites you can access ultimate resource of pictures, after all these sites were made to earn some money as well not only to serve visitors with free stuff.

During sketching and finalizing this theme I learned a lot of stuff about Word Pres platforms and also thinking to share with you guys as some of my incidents really gonna help WordPress bloggers. During designing of this theme I made 5 poles apart patterns but came up with existing one. My main concern was making site search engine gracious like always and unfortunately TechCline could not avail high rank like my official site http://SaadIrfan.com. Just 7 of my free giveaways of CSS hit the counter of 20 thousand last month in just less than 1 year, and it was only possible because of high ranking on search engine. 95 percent of traffic to my official site was from keywords related to CSS was form UK and Canada. And this fact was forcing me to do more work on CSS. Designing a WordPress theme really improves your CSS and PHP, trust me. You should give a try If you are willing to improve your skills.

Some visitors’ thinks, if the design can’t be appropriate then how could be data in it, if it is really giving our meant article. In fact sometimes, some of those sites really do give valid information. But people ignore the pages because of boring view or damage structure. As a developer I always kept myself working on my own made site analytic tools, in start I was quite bad with designing stuff, so that time I used to come people my site but most of them used to leave the page within 5 seconds. Means they didn’t even read the article or try to look for their stuff. However the log showed they were really looking for the stuff which I have given on my page.

Well that things kept improving as I keep myself busy in improving my designs and people use to stay on my site for long time when they comes through any search engine. Now the factor which we to discuss is, what exactly is main points which a developers should keep in mind if they are not good with designing but wants to develop and design the site on their own.

Chose the pattern of colors when working with colors for designing the site, if you think you are not good with designing color patterns, download any free template or visit any site which can give you such things. I recommend you to visit colorlovers.com site. This site gives the lovely color palettes idea.

Keep yourself strict while giving colors to headings, paragraphs, quotes, comments or anything. Don’t use any color out of pre made color palettes.

Always make sure, the visitor can understand the difference between headings, paragraph, comments and its posting date. You can do it easily by keeping the heading size big and bold. Also make sure the post date and time are smaller than paragraph’s font or dull in color like grey in color. And keep the date and time above or below the heading, which is also recommended as a tip for search engine optimization. Keep the visitor inform about recent updates by calling them from database on a side bar or on footer especially in case you are running any blog, search engine’s robot find it very useful to cover all site.

If you are not aware of site mapping system, take help from others site. Just google site mapping term and you will have so much help in it. Remember by viewing other’s sites and portals, you will be having lot of ideas for your site to implement, so research on other sites as much as you can. Still if think you can’t figure out any cool design for your site; don’t give up, use pre made free layouts and web templates for your first design. By editing them, you will learn lot of basics.

The main problem which we have to face mostly is that. It doesn’t look so familiar on every browser. Some times you will have some different results in different browser. So that mean during preparing css for your site. You should keep checking your site test versions on some different browsers, such as MS Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.

Writing CSS has become easy nowadays because with using of CSS software you can write any css file with no time for small website. But again the point comes, what kind of site structure you wanna create. Will you be able to make it like your wish? The answer is maybe not at start. But once you have good command in CSS. Then it becomes quite easy. All you need is time and some tutorial help. Don’t rush. Having complete command is not so that easy because its commands get increase to you by watching other sites. This is good thing. There are some commands which only run in IE7. Well those are very advance ones. But that doesn’t means that you cant make it your own way.
I will recommend you to start write a simple CSS file for single page. Then link it with some other pages. Try to use quite easy style first. Then step by step move to advance ones.
Using software like Dreamweaver made you work so easy that you can start editing readymade basic templates given in package. However you can find it here on this site as well.
First thing which you should know is to understand the difference of DIV and Class. Making it easy for you to understand, understand this. In div you decide the layout structure of box in which you are about to put your text. The main advantage of it will be that, after starting div tag you will keep writing thing and it will stay in that box. Means it will obey its all rules.

Just take a look on this coding. Don’t you find it easy to understand?  (#content) defines div Identity.

There are heaps of commands which makes your work looking awesome. Such as

border: 1px solid #666666;

How does it help to resolve the above mentioned problem…CSS is a style language or tool which is used to add the layout to the website. Now I’ll explain step by step how we can save the time if we have to edit the look of the text
on all the pages. There are basically three methods to do the same.

When we mentioned our div tags, the whole text with in it will be the same, which was defined in its property back in css file.

<div id=”content”> Welcome this my<span> message</span></div>

The word (message) is in class. It will obey those properties which have mentioned for it. And will not irritate other things in div. focus:

<span> message</span>.

Now the point comes. How to write class properties?
Its same as we wrote div codes. Just have a look.

You made difference just by writing ( .myhighlight ) rather then (  #myhighlight ).

Div actually helps you make basic structure of site. with specific lengths and backgroung colors.
You can put background images in div or class with so many properties. Such as

background: #FFFFF url(img/bg.gif) repeat-x;

Here it tells if picture length is small then repeat it in x-axis. It will not repeat it in y-axis
#FFFFF is color code here, which tells that of pictures ends then display this color as background so the picture looks complete.

background: #FFF url(img/bg.gif) repeat-y;

for y-axis

background: #FFF url(img/bg.gif) no-repeat;

it tells to show picture only once. Not to repeat in any axis

background: #FFFFF url(img/bg.gif) no-repeat  right;

it tells to start  the picture from right direction and don’t repeat it.

to begin first wou will make css file and will save it name.css
such as style.css

and to link your webpage with that css file you will mention link

<link rel=”stylesheet” type=”text/css” href=”styles.css” />

These were some basics only. There is huge stuff to know about it. the best thing about css is you can understand is very easily. You can download template given site and edit and understand it rewrote whole script. It will make your command on CSS very good.
